Window Management Action

Arrange, resize, and organize windows on your Mac.

What It Does​

The Window Management action controls window positioning and size. Quickly organize your workspace without manually dragging and resizing windows.

Available Operations​

  • Maximize — Expand window to fill the screen
  • Minimize — Send window to the dock
  • Fullscreen — Enter fullscreen mode for the window
  • Center — Automatically resize and center window on screen
  • Left Half — Snap window to left half of screen
  • Right Half — Snap window to right half of screen
  • Top Half — Snap window to top half of screen
  • Bottom Half — Snap window to bottom half of screen
  • Quarter Positions — Snap to screen corners

Tips​

Add delays — Always add a short delay after opening an app before positioning its window to ensure it has time to finish opening.

Multiple displays — Window management works with multiple monitors but may require testing.
