Introduction

Thank you for using Radial! We take your privacy seriously and want to be transparent about the data we collect and how it's used. Radial is developed and maintained by AppVerge, which is further owned by Gustav Lübker, with the goal of providing a smooth and secure experience for our users.

Data Collection

We only collect the essential information needed to manage your app licenses, payments, and other app functionality. This includes your email address, name and basic details about your computer such as its name and version, which are necessary to register and manage your Radial license. Additionally, if you reach out for support through our website, we may collect some information about your device to help diagnose and resolve issues, but we do not retain this data for long.

To improve Radial and enhance the user experience, we also collect some anonymized data such as device information, use of the app, and your country while navigating the website using Cloudflare Analytics. This data is not linked to you personally and is used only for internal product improvement. We do not collect or store detailed tracking data beyond what is strictly necessary for this purpose.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for marketing or advertising. To operate Radial, we use a small set of trusted service providers (processors) who handle data on our behalf: Stripe for payment processing, Anthropic and Groq for AI inference (only when you use the AI features described below), and Cloudflare for anonymized analytics and infrastructure. Each provider is bound by its own privacy commitments and processes data only as needed to deliver the service.

AI Macro Creator

Radial includes an integrated AI assistant for creating macros. When you use it, your prompts are securely sent to Groq's inference service powered by Meta's Llama-3.1-8B-Instruct model to generate responses. Groq processes these solely for that purpose without retaining, logging, or using the data for training other models. AI Pro Subscription

Radial includes an optional paid feature called AI Pro that adds intelligent actions such as rewrite, improve, fix grammar, summarize, and more inside your shortcuts. When you trigger an AI Pro action, the text you supply — typically a selection from another app, your clipboard contents, or a custom prompt you write — is sent over an encrypted connection to our backend, and from there to an AI inference provider that processes it and returns the result.

We use Anthropic (Claude) as the primary provider, with Groq as a fallback for sustained heavy usage. We do not store the content of your prompts or the AI's responses anywhere on our systems. We log only the metadata needed to operate the service: which action ran, how many tokens it used, the resulting cost estimate, success or failure, and a timestamp tied to your license. Your prompt text itself is never written to our database.

For accountability, a non-identifying hashed identifier derived from your license key accompanies requests to Anthropic. This lets Anthropic attribute any safety review to a single account rather than to all Radial users, and lets us act on specific abuse reports without storing your content. The identifier is one-way hashed and cannot be reversed to your email or any personal detail.

Anthropic does not use API content to train its models; it retains requests for a limited period (typically up to 30 days) for trust and safety, with longer retention only when a request is flagged as violating their usage policy. Groq processes content solely to return the response and does not train models on it. Their full policies are available at anthropic.com/legal/privacy and groq.com/privacy-policy.

Use of AI Pro is subject to the acceptable use terms in our Terms of Service. Submitting illegal, abusive, or otherwise harmful content may result in suspension of your AI Pro access.

Payment Information

Payments for Radial are processed securely through Stripe Payments. We only store limited payment information such as your email and name which is linked to your license for future access. No other payment details are saved anywhere or shared with third parties.

We offer a 7-day free trial for all apps so you can evaluate them before purchasing. Failed payments are automatically refunded by Stripe. If you encounter technical issues after purchase that prevent the app from functioning as described, please contact us at support@appverge.net within 14 days. We will work to resolve the issue and may provide a refund on a case-by-case basis if we cannot fix it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

From time to time, we may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. While we won't notify users individually, we encourage you to check back here occasionally to stay informed. Any changes take effect as soon as they're posted on this page.
