From designers to developers, these are the people who made the switch to Radial. In their own words.
“I rate Radial 10/10.”
“Radial is one of the most useful everyday apps I currently use. I was never good with shortcuts and macros, so this makes using some apps, which heavily rely on shortcuts, much more comfortable to use.
First thing first, it’s built with Swift, so it works really well. Big plus.
I love the visuals. It’s minimalistic, animations are smooth, the background darkening makes it clearly stand out, has (optional) Liquid Glass design, built-in symbol library (with browser) and can be resized based on need.
Navigation is simple and straightforward. There’s even a tutorial when the app is first launched, which teaches everything the user needs. Really helpful, so no need for trial and error, nor any YouTube tutorials.
Big plus is that we can share and use presets with other users, which can come in handy for people who just want to get straight to working, without the hassle of adding everything yourself. At the time I am writing this, there aren’t many of them, but they are rapidly increasing. When I found Radial (thanks to AlternativeTo website), there were 3 shared presets. Now, about a month later, there are at least 20 of them from other users.
Price is reasonable in my opinion. 15€ one-time payment (no “additional year of updates” or other forms of subscription/fee).
Updates are pretty frequent (at least once a month) and they are quite big. In the newest update for example, there’s a new feature, which was requested, that allows to switch between multiple menus, so we can have more menus per app for example.
Lastly, the developer is very friendly and open-minded. He is taking all feedback seriously into consideration, replies fast (on Discord and email) and brings requested features within few updates.
Sorry if this comes off as overly positive, but unlike some others, I have no problems with the app, so I can’t point out anything I would find annoying or bad. To sum it up, I recommend Radial to all users who are looking for this sort of app. I checked the competition, but I didn’t find their apps as useful, feature-rich and visually pleasing as this one. Personally I rate Radial 10/10.”

“I have to say that I’m really impressed with this. I’ve used a couple of other radial menus in the past and found that Radial is far more powerful than expected. I can easily see this fitting into and in some areas hugely improving the way I do things on a daily basis, even in ways that I didn’t consider until I started playing around with the app.
Other solutions sometimes felt like they were getting in the way a bit — I could feel the overhead, etc. whereas Radial seems far snappier, yet more capable in every way.
Well done!”
