Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of Radial, which is developed by AppVerge ("we", "us"), and set out your rights and responsibilities as a user. By using Radial, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the app.

License Usage

A purchase of Radial grants you a license to install and use the app on up to five devices that you personally own. The license is for personal use only and may not be shared with or transferred to others.

Sharing or publicly distributing your license may result in its deactivation without refund.

Payments

Payments for Radial are processed through Stripe. We do not store your payment details. Only the information necessary to manage your license, such as your name and email address, is retained.

A 7-day free trial is available so that you can evaluate Radial before purchasing. Failed payments are refunded automatically by Stripe. If you experience technical issues after purchase that prevent the app from functioning as described, please contact us at support@appverge.net within 14 days. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue and may, at our discretion, issue a refund if it cannot be resolved.

AI Pro Subscription

AI Pro is an optional paid subscription that provides AI features in Radial, including Ask Radial, the AI Shortcut Builder, AI planning for Made for You, and AI actions within shortcuts. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly or yearly basis at the prices displayed in the app. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal, which is accessible from Radial's settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until that date. AI Pro requires a paid Radial license; trial licenses are not eligible.

AI Pro is provided subject to fair use. Our backend selects an appropriate AI model for each request based on aggregate usage. In cases of sustained heavy usage, text actions may be processed by faster, smaller models in order to keep the service available and affordable for all users. This does not affect normal usage.

You agree to use AI Pro only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the usage policies of our AI providers, including Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy. You agree not to use AI Pro to generate content that is illegal, that sexually exploits or endangers minors, that facilitates physical or psychological harm to others, that constitutes harassment or targeted abuse, that infringes intellectual property rights, or that attempts to extract, reverse-engineer, or attack the underlying AI systems. We may warn, restrict or terminate AI Pro access in the event of a violation of these terms, without refund where the breach is serious.

AI output is provided "as is". AI systems may produce inaccurate, incomplete or unexpected results, and you should verify any output before relying on it. We do not guarantee the quality or behaviour of any AI provider, and we reserve the right to change providers, models or features as the technology evolves.

Shortcuts created or suggested by AI, whether through Ask Radial, the AI Shortcut Builder or Made for You, run on your Mac with your permissions and may open applications, change settings, move files and run scripts. Radial reviews AI-generated steps and blocks commands that could cause lasting harm, but no safeguard is infallible. You are responsible for reviewing a shortcut before running or adding it, and for the shortcuts you choose to run.

Made for You

Made for You is disabled by default. By enabling it, you authorize Radial to observe the sources you select on your Mac in order to suggest shortcuts and menus, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may disable the feature and erase the information it has collected at any time. Suggestions are provided for convenience only and are added to your menus only at your direction.

Prohibited Activities

You may not modify or tamper with Radial's code, circumvent license verification, or redistribute the software. Any such unauthorized activity may result in the termination of your license and, where appropriate, legal action.

Reporting Issues

We aim to provide a reliable, high-quality app. If you encounter any issues, please notify us at support@appverge.net, and we will address the matter as promptly as possible.

Limitation of Liability

While we make every effort to ensure that Radial operates reliably, unforeseen issues may occur. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any data loss, device malfunction or other damage arising from your use of Radial.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to Radial or to legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page. Your continued use of Radial after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
